Word of the Day -- Overland

This has to be one of the favorite words of head Troll Steve.  If not a favorite word,  then certainly his favorite type of adventure:

Overland -- by, on, or across land

A simple word really, and a simple enough premise but oh so much more than that.  Eschewing the classic dungeon crawl, Steve prefers the open road, the lands, trees, fields that an overland adventure can provide a party.  Just recently he's been doing some of his GM Tricks of the Trade on how to keep tension going while on a long trip.  You can catch up on those if interested on our Twitch channel.  (I highly recommend them, there are some great ideas about time and travel in there.)
