Fortifying the Hill

They set the castle upon the hill and fortified it with high walls and towers. Many barbicans were set upon the singular path that led to the berg, and these were made such that one could defend the other. The castle was thought impregnable, and for that reason, they set the store of their treasures within it.  ~ The World of Aihrde

Of Gods & Light

The land erupts in rage, tongues of flame rise, driving great columns of ash and soot before them. The wind coils the chaos into mighty columns that capture the light and cast it back to earth. All the world is lit in the darkness and you can see the road before you.
