Riviera Closes

The Riviera Casino in Las Vegas has closed and is slated, though not scheduled, for demolition. I've been in and out of it a few times, but never realized it was the go to spot in Las Vegas for a time. Its been overshadowed in recent years by the larger, more extravagant, theme-park oriented casinos, but had stood the test of time.

Las Vegas gobbled the property up and plans to replace it with something.

Thus the wheel keeps on turning...
