Curiosity continues his mission to explore the Red Planet. Recent data from the long arm of research has revealed varying degrees of water in the in the ground beneath the rover. It would appear that the average water in ranges about 3% for the first
60 cm of ground.The water is bound within hydrated minerals.
What this means is that there is more water on Mars than that which lies locked in the Poles . . . something we've long suspected . . . but what it really means is that there is almost undoubtedly water locked beneath the surface.
Where there is water, there is life.
