Somewhere in the United Kingdom a Dalek was discovered in the bottom of pond. While cleaning rubbish from the reed covered waters the head of the Dalek was discovered in the muck. Carefully extracting it revealed some light damage to the head, but no body on it.

Daleks are of course from the planet Skaro where their bodies were integrated with machines to create powerful cyborgs. Many of them were destroyed in the war with the Thals. But their aggressive, warlike nature have brought them to earth many times. This is the first real evidence of the creatures found outside the manipulated time stream.
