Up Hill, Both Ways!

You've heard the stories of our father's fathers that tell of a time they walked up hill both ways to school, in 10 inches of snow; they woke up before the sun was up and worked till long after it went down; they did it and they didn't complain!

Maybe they weren't exaggerating after all:

Coal miners?

Making . . . and smoking . . . cigars.

This sign looks astounding like the one in the print shop: "Trim the Covers! That means you dumbass!" Its good to know people in the nineteen ots were as dumb as we are today.

Good lord that child on the right looks like she could pull your arm off and beat your to death with it . . . hell, all of them do!
