Upon the Top of the World
Settled by Vikings fleeing the tyrannical rule of Harold BlueTooth the Faroe Islands sit in the Norwegian Sea north of Scotland, about mid way between Norway and Iceland. These islands are the ideal grounds for a fantasy campaign! Check out more pictures here. This first picture is really cool. I think I want to live there!

Great post. I never heard of these islands before, and will be spending a bit of time reading about them today. Thanks for enlarging my worldview--even if by just a bit.

These isle have me rather fascinated as well. I would like to go there some day methinks. Of course I'm guessing it gets rather cold. ha
