Kibo, or as we like to call him Ash

The Japanese have developed an android to accompany astronauts on the international space station. They have named the project Kibo. The small 2 foot robot will speak in Japanese and be able to communicate with Wakata a Japanese astronaut scheduled to arrive in the space station next year.


The Japanese have clearly picked up a deep space signal and need a presence in the space station year round, not just the occasional astronaut. Enter Kibo, or should we call him Ash . . . .
