Classic Science Fiction

There is some great sic-fi out there, themes that explore what it is to be human, without descending into the self-loathing that so many writers of modern fiction feel the need to do. Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep comes to mind.  This classic story from Phillip K. Dick was brought to the big screen in the movie Blade Runner and does a wonderful job of both celebrating humans all the while condemning our short time upon the track.
