A Moment in Time

Tonight we run our weekly game. The characters are moving up through the wilderness of the Tar Kiln where no man rules. They have already encountered some huge mammals and some extraordinary hunters . . . with a little more of that to come. But for refuge there is precious little. Its winter and there is easily a foot of snow on the ground, the temperature stands steady at about 10 - 20 degrees Fahrenheit in the day, much colder at night. The few people who live there, may or may not offer them refuge.

But if they did, this would the shape of it.
