“The inscription on Thor‘s hammer reads ‘Whosoever holds this hammer, if HE be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor.’ Well, it’s time to update that inscription. The new Thor continues Marvel’s proud tradition of strong female characters like Captain Marvel, Storm, Black Widow and more. And this new Thor isn’t a temporary female substitute. She’s now the one and only Thor, and she is worthy.”
The new comic will be written by Jason Aaron with art from Russell Dauterman.
I get they are going all equal gender or whatever, but do they have to have the sexist armor. Really the breast plate isn't supposed to focus on the breasts, it should protect them blows. One hit on the cup and the cup will crumple, crushing the breast.
If your going to do it, do it right.

Thus saith the Troll Lord: "Do they have to have the sexist armor?"
And lo, I did a double-take and had to go look that the Troll Lord really did post that.
So heading into the dungeon scantily clad is all right, but if the womenfolk are wearing armor, it should be practical? ;-)

LOLOL Nah, my only point if your going to make a major male character female and your reasoning is that its time women had a role in being Thor…i'm not sure what the reasoning is other than to draw attention to a company and a brand…but I assume its to show gender equality. And if your going to do that, then do it well. If your going for some sexy armored women to draw in more people then carry on! :)
