Kirby Battle Rages On

When the heirs to the Kirby estate lost in the lower circuit court, the case between them and Marvel over who owns Jack Kirby's comic art, worked its way up to the supreme court, where they requested a brief from the Marvel team. Marvel delivered their brief yesterday, asking the court to throw out the case entirely as it isn't a case that threatens the constitution, due process etc etc…in short, its not that important and the supremes don't need to hear it.

We'll see how this plays out.
