Captain America Replaced

Steve Rogers was drained of his power by the Iron Nail and can no longer act in his duties as Captain America. He'll have to choose a successor, and he'll do that in Issue #25 of his comic book. That will come about in October.

I'm always curious what drives writers to do these things (of course they aren't killing him). Is it sales or are the tired of the present character? It could be any number of reasons, but we'll have to wait to see how it all pans out!

No matter what, I love that shield!

My prediction. Falcon takes over for a bit.

I agree with the above. they did this when he died and Hawkeye was one of the candidates before Bucky took it over. I feel that they will give it to the Falcon.

of course they could also give it to a female character

maybe this new Jet Black character or someone else

I havent been reading cap since they rebooted. Last one I read was when he came back after Bucky's run as cap

A female Cap eh? That would be interesting and pretty cool actually. I need to pick up some of these reboots and see if I enjoy them, I haven't read them either, but love me some Captain America.
