Since 1960

Since we managed to break free of the Earth we have sent over 22 missions to Mars, from orbiters to rovers. Right now there are about 3 or 4 that are actively poking around the planet, mapping it, looking for water and other resources and attempting to discover if there was ever life on that planet.

If we ever manage to go all Star Trek, just imagine what we'll be doing, zipping around the galaxy looking for life and water.
