Amazon Gets Patent for Stuff
This has to be the silliest, and most dangerous, patent given in awhile. Apparently Amazon applied for and got the patent for taking pictures against a white background. Here's their totally original, crazy, new age concept that they submitted to the USPTO.

Aren't passport photos taken against a white background? I think passports have been around a little longer than 2011. Wonder how they managed to get the pictures.
haha I don't know what's going on at the USPTO. I think I might try to get a patent for yard grass.
