Self-Healing Polymer
I'm not sure what polymer is, it looks rather like some plastic or the other. But scientists in Spain have designed some polymer that is self healing. Once cut in half and reattached the substance refuses and joins to the severed limb.
This will be great for Davis who has cut off three of his fingers and had them all reattached. Now he can just put some of this stuff in his hand and go to town!
