That was Anticlimatic!

When I read this article I expected it to end differently.

Way back in 1888 the Hatfields and McCoy's had at one another. The dispute started over land rights and livestock and ended up in a centuries long dispute...the first year of which was particularly brutal with about a dozen Kentuckians losing their lives.

Recently archeologists set out to find the original McCoy homestead to excavate the site for artifacts. Members from both families joined the dig.

It all ended peacefully.

But a better ending would have been a McCoy and Hatfield getting into an argument of where the house was and the whole feud started up again....TV Land style!!!

Post Script: Being from Arkansas I can make fun hill folk, its in our State Constitution.
