Hicks Returns?

Of course you've all heard the rumors floating around that there is a new Aliens movie in the works. Director Blomkamp has been ciruclating concept art on his social media sites and word is that the studios have picked it up.

What makes it curious is his comments. He wants to pick up these story after movie 2, Aliens, as opposed to after movie 4. But he doesn't want to disavow the 3rd and 4th movies.

Not sure how to do that, but the latest concept art has Hicks back from the dead.

This sort of jives with Sigourney Weaver's comments on a proper ending for the story.
