The traditional holiday sales weekend took a major hit with fewer shoppers in stores and less money crossing the counter. Numbers of shoppers from 2013 fell by 5% and revenue was down 11% as people apparently ate too much turkey and slept through all the deals and sales.
Of course it probably was affected by the weekend extending back 4 days to the Monday before Black Friday (that sentence is utterly mangled but I'm going to let it stand).
Yeah. Maybe.
