Ryan Reynolds has confirmed via his twitter account that he has been cast in the Deadpool movie. No word on what roll he's playing yet, but presumably he'll be Deadpool himself.

I like Reynolds, he's got a great action-oriented, comedic flair about him, much like Bruce Willis does. And Willis movies are always fun

Also cast, Cumberbatch is officially Dr. Strange. That should be very cool. I love that character, though we'll see how Cumberbatch handles the giant mustacheos. He's not quite Italian enough (not that strange is Italian, only that Italians generally have black hair).
