The Pawnee

The Pawnee were a powerful tribe that dwelt in the Kansas/Nebraska region. They dominated the central plains for a while but eventually pressure from the Sioux to the north, Osage from the east and Commanche from the south dislocated the tribe; all this after it was ravaged by diseases such as small pox. The Pawnee practiced some agriculture and never fully adapted to the horse culture of the Great Plains, but because of the turmoil caused by their warring neighbors they frequently assisted the US in its conquest of the region.

But with all that they may have been the bad ass lookingest dudes in all the Country!
