Jitte (Jutte)

This weapon is essentially an 18” iron rod with a single hook extending from where the handle ends.  The hook extends 1/3 up the length of the shaft. The weapon is designed for defense against swords and for subduing an opponent without drastically harming them. The hooked portion would capture and even snap blades. It weighs roughly 3lbs.
