What the Same Hill? A Force Field?

Boeing just patented a force field.

Its called "method and system for shockwave attenuation via electromagnetic arc."

This is like bad ass news!

Its a lot of math, but if you head down to the summary section you'll see the babble about creating a field around the "protected asset" that reacts to a source of energy (bomb blast) by creating heat that deflects or absorbs it or some such.
