Violent Endings in Scandanavia
Archeologists have unearthed a community that seems to have suffered a violent end. The village or fort stood on a small island, raiders attacked and seemingly wiped the village out. The villagers, 5 discovered so far, were killed in their home, some standing the door.
More bodies are expected. It seems that the village was not plundered as gold jewelry has been recovered.
The people were killed and left where they fell. No one visited to cremate the dead or plunder the remains.
