Cave City

Vardzia Cave City

So people have long lived in caves and here is one that is really cool. Occupied up until the 16th century or so after the Ottomans took the place meandered through and occupied the region. It was a monastery at that time and for several hundreds of years prior. It was occupied prior to that for several thousand years.
