Black Dahlia

An ex-LA cop claims, as he has been for some time, to have unearthed new evidence that his father, a prominent doctor in the area, was the perpetrator of the murder of Elizebeth Short. Ms. Short's body was found in an abandoned lot, bisected, mutilated and with much of the blood drained from her body back in 1947.

The cop's father was later arrested for child molestation and rape, though he never confessed to the crime. His son claims to have found hand writing samples that match notes sent to the police as well as receipts for cement bags found at the site.
