What Treasures Lie Within

He fled the corsairs, turning the Gallant in to the shoals in hopes that the promise of a watery grave might dissuade them. His cargo too precious to allow it to fall into the hands of those raving in madness. The Gallant however took the bank hard and her mizzen snapped and the she went wild, forced by waves and storm onto a cliff-walled beach. 

Thus the Gallant, her Captain, and crew were never heard from again. And her cargo . . . .
