Curiosity on Standby

In case you've been wondering what is going on with Curiosity and why we've not had many updates its because the Red Planet has passed behind the Sun and JPL has placed Curiosity in stand by to maintain the integrity of his instruments. He's been recording and storing data, estimated at about 12 gigs worth. The data dump happens today, so we should have new news later this month as its sorted out.

Hopefully it won't include any dark shadows knocking the rover over . . . or maybe that would be the beginning of a great mess of fun! Or maybe not.
