This Isn't Science Fiction

For those coming late to the party NASA and JPL have sent a rover to Mars. The rover is the size of a VW Bug with the express purpose of finding traces of life, or what may have been life, on Mars. With more water found on the Red Planet than we thought Mars offers us a new Off World Colony. Curiosity is the name given the rover.

She had a hair raising descent the other day, and now NASA has released a new film capturing a good chunk of it.

Curiosity filmed that last two minutes of her descent to the surface of Mars. Check it out:
