First, reading random book to child at bedtime? Yeah, sounds like a horror movie plot. But people really do stupid horror movie plot things.
Second, she needs to go all "Monster (Short Film)" on Babadook's butt. (Go ahead, it's on youtube. You'll like it.) And it looks like she just might.
