The Space Shuttle Atlantis was retired last year, after successfully completing 33 missions, orbiting the earth over 4000 times and traveling over 126 thousand miles. She was given a royal send off and sent to Cape Canaveral in Florida for a permanent place in history.
Her battered hull (as well as the rest of her) goes on exhibit later this month on June 29th.
