Armageddon is just around the corner, at least I keep telling myself (yesterday my youngster watched me slump over the steering wheel and mutter..."they promised us the aliens would attack. there was this grand conspiracy, but they promised an alien attack!").
So its necessary to arm ourselves accordingly. Industry can only last so long so what to wear in the Armageddon.
A bow is a must. Lots of arrows too, in case its zombie you can shoot them in the head and retrieve the arrow.
But what about a German Battle Axe? Its heavy and perhaps requires less skill. You can buy one right here at Strongblade. You can lop off zombie limbs and heads, or alternatively crush mechanical arms aka the Terminator (in case its a machine apocalypse), or you can intimidate club wielding cannibals. On the flip side, its heavy and requires a broad swing, leaving you exposed for a few seconds.
Post Script: It would help if we knew what manner of Armageddon we are facing!

Personally, I keep a crowbar in my trunk. In any apocalypse you'll need to scavenge, and having a way to open up locked place is good. Against zombies, you've got good bone-breaking steel. Against fleshy opponents, the hook end will penetrate well. In between, you don't have to answer uncomfortable questions if a cop asks to see in the trunk.
That is absolutely genius! A bearded axe would be hard to explain to a police officer in the small event that there is not an apocalypse!
