Kickstarter announced this week that they are abandoning the use of the Amazon Payments center in favor of Stripes, a relative new comer in the online payment business. Amazon can be a bit cantankerous in the way it treats vendors and you have to jump through a few weird hoops to make it happen. We had an Amazon Advantage (one of the biz programs) for over a decade and they still made us jump through a few hoops. And this is the main reason KS is jumping ship and moving to Stripe.
This is fine by us as we already have that set up through the Backerkit program that works in conjunction with Kickstarter.
