Curiosity continues its rolling drive across the surface of Mars, sending back all manner of pictures and data. One of her latest shows a mirrored light on a far ridge. A number of reasons for it were given. The light may be a rock catching the reflection of the setting sun. A hole in the camera housing captured the light on film. Cosmic rays are hitting the camera and causing it to have bright spots.
The spot is not in similar images taken from different angles, making it impossible that its a sign of life…this according to NASA.
