Taking Pictures of Planets

The Gemini Planet Imager was installed back in '13 and has been scanning the skies ever sense. She has revealed some of the first pictures (as far as I can tell) of planets beyond our own solar system. Orienting toward HR 8799, about 130 light years away, it picked up images of the system's four planets.
