Armor Up (Winged Hussar)
It doesn't get any better than the Polish Winged Hussars. These guys lived the lives we play on the table. There is some dispute over wether they wore their wings into battle, but I suspect strongly that they did, such an image of winged knights, charging across the battlefield must surely have sowed despair into their enemies, for it looked as if the angels of Heaven had come down to guide them to victory!
