Shuttle Atlantas

The Space Shuttle Atlantis was retired last year, after successfully completing 33 missions, orbiting the earth over 4000 times and traveling over 126 thousand miles. She was given a royal send off and sent to Cape Canaveral in Florida for a permanent place in history.

Her battered hull (as well as the rest of her) goes on exhibit later this month on June 29th.

If your in the area, stop by and give the old girl a visit.

This picture is of her final landing.
