Dragon's Fire

This picture reminds me of the only game that I ran of D&D that had a dragon in it.

It was a young white dragon, which means it had frost breath. I had got to thinking that in order for these creatures to actually have that kind of power come from within them, I bet they are like a walking freezer. So, as they got near it's layer, things had ice on it.

When they where fighting the dragon outside of it's layer, ice and frost started to build up on everything within a hundred feet of it.

there was no system stuff for this, just description details. The players loved that detail (every time someone missed while trying to attack thing young dragon, they would say it was because they must have slipped on ice, etc.)
