The End is nigh - strap on your sword

I have heard gamers my whole life explain how they would be better suited than most to survive the coming apocalypse. This due to their varied skills in resource management, puzzle/trap solving, capacity to figure out unique methods of overcoming obstacles, and ability to cast fireball and heal spells.
