More Aliens in the Desert

A thousand years ago aliens set down in Mexico. They dwelt amongst the Mayans and Aztec and taught them all manner of machinations. They seeded them with alien DNA creating a reservoir of their own genetic history so that they could plunder it when they desired. Some of course died in those long ago Mezo-American kingdoms. They were buried with children and made to seem like they were only part of the local population.
