Finally. It Begins

A new company, Deep Space Industries, is launching an ambitious program to begin mining asetoirds and near earth objects, for water and other valuable chemicals with a long term gaol of colonizing space. They hold a conference today, 10 am in California (1 pm EST). Their first space craft, a probe, launches in 2015, and is called FireFlies. They will follow this with Dragonflies in 2016

Now that is just bad ass. Space.com
