Some of our wonderful friends over the sea in Japan decided to coax some embryonic stem cells from a mouse into growing, and it seems this sparked a pituitary gland to grow itself. Though I'm not sure what all that means, and as it has little to do with Black Queen or the Long Haired Kings I fell asleep while reading it, I'm pretty sure it is leading to birth of some cthuluesque monsters!
This picture was taken from the Thing Remake from the 70s. The Thing will always hold a hallowed place in my mind's halls as Gary Gygax told this wonderful story of seeing the original Thing at the movies and having to walk home on a winter's eve after watching it. The story of dark shadows, quiet streets, tall hedges hiding stalking monsters was a great one!
