I cannot listen to Debra Harry of Blondie without thinking of one of the best fantasy books I've ever read. A Spell for Chameleon by Piers Anthony was captivating with a wholly unexpected ending and theme. Utterly different than what I was used to.

A Spell for Chameleon.

Maybe I should give Anthony another try. Tried several times - the last time was in 1980 - but never really enjoyed his work. Which is weird, if you knew where he got names for two character...

Always saw the books in Waldens and Bdalton's (Remember those) in the malls when I was growing up, I liked some of the covers, but never picked them up.
Got on a reading kick using my Nook a few months ago and tried out a couple of Piers' books. Interesting read.
