The Basin

There is no roof to the structure, nor windows, all is open to the elements. Grass grows where the floor once stood, contrasting with the dour gray of walls and arches. But there it stands, the basin, much as she said it would. It rests upon unsettled flagstones, filled with a dark, still water.
