Beset on all sides...

Cut off and alone. There is no easy exit, not clean break. Beset on all sides, it is fight or fall.

Faul ti-ne Dume

In the Days before Days many of the Dwarves took to wandering, even before Al-Erde imparted his wisdom and these were called the Faul ti-ne Dume and their journeys were long and filled with wonder. But many had tragic ends for they fell to the hate of Ornduhl of the Val Eahrakuhn. #aihrde #ttrpg #playcnc

To War...

When the North Mark broke free, there was war. Kayomar and her lords called to arms all their vassals and they gathered, great and small. #aihrde #playcnc #ttrpg

In the Musk Grass and Chara

It looked to all appearances as a woman drowned, thus the creature lured the unwary, drawing them into the tangled waters, there to snare them in the musk grass and chara. Once beneath the surface they devoured them and let their bones sink to the mire below.

The Solace of Forgotten Places

In the heart of the aged wood the trees dwell in quiet, though not in peace, for they are old and a tangled mess in their sullen hate of all creatures, whether good or foul of purpose. Only a few dwell here, in the Darkenfold, those who seek solace and to slip from the memory of the living.

A Wall Like No Other

Rising from the pestilent morass of peat and sphagnum that carpets the small islands of sandy-black mud, a nauseating stench clings to the air, snatching your breath. The bog laps the feet of the distant ridge, beyond which lie the mountains, your destination.

A Mountain Like a Wall

Even in the warm months the Bergrucken are daunting, but in the deeps of Winter, crossing them is a herculean task. But the choice is not yours, your charge cannot wait for the Spring thaw. Perhaps, you can go under....

Aihrde is coming to World Anvil!

Troll Lord Games joins World Anvil

https://www.worldanvil.com/w/world-of-aihrde-trolllordgames

Thanks to an introduction by our newest TLG employee, Chuck, we have dipped our toes into World Anvil. For those of you who do not know WA, it is a place where you can layout your entire RPG world for well, the world to see.  And we have a very large world, our World of Aihrde.  And it continues to grow.

So after talking to Janet and Dimitris (WA founders), we have decided that WA is a great place to showcase our world.  You can enter maps, adventures, timelines, calendar of events, really anything your mind can imagine.  You can build your world there, add to it, shape it, etc.  We are fortunate in that we already have an entire world already developed, we just have to put it in World Anvil and figure out the best way to showcase it.

We have already set up and account, Troll Lord Games on World Anvil, and would love for you to come over and follow us and check it out!  We welcome any and all comments, ideas, suggestions on the best way to do make this the best world out there. We intend to make it a fully functioning world you can use in conjunction with your TTRPG, your VTT, what have you.  Keep in mind we are very new at this and are still getting our feet wet -- that's why your input is so vital and valuable.  And if you have some expertise with WA, let us know!  We are looking a few volunteers to help us out with the overall layout, data entry and design.  So this is your chance to help shape our world on World Anvil! If you are interested in volunteering, please contact me direct at tim@trolllord.com

The Open Gate

It is too late in the day for travel. The evening has brought a mist to cloud your vision. Shades of a cool air dampen the forest green. But no matter. Your errand is great. The road, dark or gray, must be yours.
