Aihrde is coming to World Anvil!

Troll Lord Games joins World Anvil

Thanks to an introduction by our newest TLG employee, Chuck, we have dipped our toes into World Anvil. For those of you who do not know WA, it is a place where you can layout your entire RPG world for well, the world to see.  And we have a very large world, our World of Aihrde.  And it continues to grow.

So after talking to Janet and Dimitris (WA founders), we have decided that WA is a great place to showcase our world.  You can enter maps, adventures, timelines, calendar of events, really anything your mind can imagine.  You can build your world there, add to it, shape it, etc.  We are fortunate in that we already have an entire world already developed, we just have to put it in World Anvil and figure out the best way to showcase it.  

We have already set up and account, Troll Lord Games on World Anvil, and would love for you to come over and follow us and check it out!  We welcome any and all comments, ideas, suggestions on the best way to do make this the best world out there. We intend to make it a fully functioning world you can use in conjunction with your TTRPG, your VTT, what have you.  Keep in mind we are very new at this and are still getting our feet wet -- that's why your input is so vital and valuable.  And if you have some expertise with WA, let us know!  We are looking a few volunteers to help us out with the overall layout, data entry and design.  So this is your chance to help shape our world on World Anvil! The Open Gate

It is too late in the day for travel. The evening has brought a mist to cloud your vision. Shades of a cool air dampen the forest green. But no matter. Your errand is great. The road, dark or gray, must be yours.

A Stone's Entrance

The stairs climb down a steep path to an entrance with stone posts and lintel. The walls to the left and right of the path are a tumbled wreck of rock and slag, built to blend with the cliffs around. But the door is there, before you, clear to see. The dry smell of stone hangs in the air, but something else too... 

Paths of the Valley

The path yields a broad valley, where tumbled meadows of green wash the feet of towering cliffs. A stone house

No Wound nor Weariness

Driven by their oath to the All Father, the Andanuth, the dwarves take no heed of wound or weariness.

Hollowed Bones of Hope

Blackened with the toil of age the castle's walls blend with the towering cliffs she once held secure. Now her walls are grass covered mounds and her towers the hollowed bones of hope. But there lies the end of your road, and what wealth but time it offers, only you can say.

The Summoning Warmth

The fire holds you. Its dancing lights ensorcell you like nothing in many long days. They draw you in, pulling you into a soothing radiance of calming warmth. But you know there is danger, for the light carries far in the crisp, cool air, summoning curious beasts who stalk the wild and hunt its darkened corridors.

Weathered Road

Weathered by time, eroded by the tread of countless heels, ground away to broken, shards of stone. The road lies before you, unfamiliar, yet strangely conversant. Castles & Crusades. 

The Bridge

The bridge spans shallow water. The road winds through the country beyond, even to the mountain, your objective. It seems odd, here in the wilds, this bridge, but maybe its best not to get your feet wet this late in the year.
