The trail began in LA on Tuesday that will settle the fate of the next Dungeons and Dragons movie. Sweetpea Entertainment has had the movie rights for the property forever and a day, since Old TSR really, and is clinging on it, claiming they have met all their obligations to keep the franchise. Hasbro decided they haven't and took them to court. Warner Bros got in on the fracas, siding with Sweetpea, planning on making another horrible D&D movie apparently this summer, and Hasbro teamed with Universal to get their own movie started.
Now its in court.
Now the Trail has begun.
It will unfold all week.
