Bill Murray broke his silence on the Ghostbusters remake. As you may or may not remember, Murray agreed to do a cameo in the movie. Its a small piece, but puts him squarely on the screen. He did this, it turns out, because he wanted to make sure that his fans knew the movie had his blessing. Not wanting to be a line in a review that remarked "Murray declined to play..." he beat the whole thing to the punch by being there.
"And then I started to feel like if I didn’t do this movie, maybe somebody would write a bad review or something, thinking there was some sort of disapproval.”
Which is a pretty cool tip of the hat by the star.
