King Kong vs. Godzilla

Well rumors are floating about that the long-in-the-works movie Skull Island (where Kong dwells) has moved to Warner Bros and that because of that the higher ups are considering a mix up of Godzilla and King Kong, letting the two duke it out.

This is a horrible idea.

These movie monsters should never have been pitted against each other and shouldn't be now.

King King is one of the greatest stories ever told, and though Godzilla is freaking awesome, he shouldn't be pitched in the boom industrial world of the early 20th century.

It was a horrible idea in 1964. It is a horrible idea now.
