Kickstarter Headsup

Tom Tullis and I talked about this a while back. Those companies, like TLG and his own Fat Dragon Games, have done a number of Kickstarter projects, with the understanding that the money made there is income for the company and must be recorded as such. Its not a gift or some other special category that allows you to avoid taxes. Its income.

So if you are doing a kickstarter, and successfully hit your pledge goal keep that in mind.
